The Application Process
Top 100 Rules & Eligibility
NAREB Top 100 Realtist Program – Rules & Guidelines
- Eligibility Criteria
1.1 Applicants do not need to be NAREB members to apply; however, membership is strongly encouraged to be considered for the award.
1.2 Membership information will be sent if selected as an Awardee.
- Application Process
2.1 All applications must be submitted through the official NAREB Top 100 Realtist website.
2.2 Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Applicants must ensure all required details are accurately provided.
- Use of NAREB Branding & Logos
4.1 Selected recipients are not permitted to use the NAREB logo or branding for personal promotion.
4.2 Unauthorized use of NAREB branding may result in immediate disqualification or removal from the program.
- Team Size Verification
5.1 Applicants who include team size information must ensure accuracy and provide supporting documentation if requested.
5.2 The program administrators reserve the right to conduct random verifications.
5.3 Failure to provide authentic team size details may lead to application rejection.
- Application Deadline
6.1 Applications must be submitted by the specified deadline; late submissions will not be accepted.
6.2 Deadlines and any updates will be communicated through official NAREB channels.
- Selection Process
7.1 The NAREB Top 100 Realtist selection committee will evaluate applicants based on predefined criteria, production, leadership, and contributions to the organization and the industry.
7.2 All selection decisions are final and cannot be appealed.
- Notification of Results
8.1 Successful applicants will be notified through the contact information provided in their application.
8.2 Unsuccessful applicants may request feedback within a specified timeframe.
- Confidentiality & Public Recognition
9.1 All application details will be kept confidential.
9.2 The names of award recipients may be publicly announced unless they request otherwise.
- Code of Conduct
10.1 Selected NAREB Top 100 Realtists must uphold high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
10.2 Any violation of NAREB’s Code of Conduct may result in disqualification or revocation of the recognition.
- Policy Amendments
11.1 These rules are subject to change at NAREB’s discretion.
11.2 Any updates will be communicated through official NAREB channels, and it is the applicant’s responsibility to stay informed.
By submitting an application, applicants agree to comply with these guidelines. Failure to adhere to the program’s rules may result in disqualification.
Top 50 Individuals Award
$3M Min Production or 20 Units
This category celebrates the outstanding achievements of the top 50 individual Black real estate agents across the country. These are professionals who have excelled in their sales, provided exceptional client service, and contributed significantly to their communities and the industry at large.
Top 10 Brokerage Award
Must be an Independently owned Brokerage or Franchise
$20M in production or 50 Units Sold
Brokerage must have 51% Black Ownership
This award recognizes outstanding REALTIST brokerages that are leading the way in democratizing housing across America. This prestigious award honors those who not only achieve exceptional business success but also actively embody the National Association of Real Estate Brokers’ mission by advocating for fair and equitable housing practices, fostering inclusivity, and promoting economic empowerment in underserved communities.
Top 10 Loan Officers Award
This prestigious award honors the top 10 Loan Officers who exemplify excellence in their profession. These outstanding individuals have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to advancing Black homeownership by partnering with NAREB® Realtist members to secure loans for their clients and customers. Their expertise, dedication, and exceptional service have facilitated countless success stories, empowering families and individuals to achieve the dream of homeownership. We celebrate their critical role in supporting the mission of NAREB® and their remarkable contributions to the mortgage industry.
Top 10 Teams Award
$10M Min in Production or 32 Units
This award recognizes the top 10 Black real estate teams in the United States. These teams have demonstrated superior performance, innovative teamwork, and notable success in the real estate market, setting benchmarks for collective effort and team success.
Top 10 Commercial Award
$25M or 20 Units
This award acknowledges the top 10 Black commercial real estate professionals. These individuals have made significant contributions to the commercial real estate sector, showcasing their expertise in sales, leasing, and commercial property management.
Black America Impact Award
This distinguished award recognizes the unwavering dedication, tireless sacrifice, and exceptional leadership of NAREB’s Regional Vice Presidents. Through their steadfast commitment, they empower and support over 100 local boards across the nation, driving forward NAREB’s mission to promote democracy in housing. These leaders exemplify the essence of service, fostering growth, unity, and meaningful change within Black communities. The Black America Impact Award honors their profound work and their enduring contribution to advancing wealth-building opportunities through homeownership.
